Dedicated to carrying on the tradition of old time mountain music.

Phillip was taught claw-hammer style banjo by his great Uncle, Grandpa Jones. Since then he has won numerous awards for his banjo picking.

We've pulled some strings and managed to get.....

Johnny Butten the Guinness Books World's Record Holder for the fastest Banjo picker playing at an amazing speed of 260 beats per minute that's the fastest in the world by far! He will bringing his Newgrass Underground band to perform and he will also be giving Banjo/Guitar workshops for his fans.

It all starts off Friday April 24th
with two of the most recognizable names in Country and Bluegrass entertainment Lonzo and Oscar are here presenting old time vaudeville-style comedy entertainment for the entire family. Two shows Friday 6 and 8 pm - Gates open at 3pm
*come on out early and enjoy the Catalina Chicken & /Pork Shoulder Sandwiches & Dinners by Track side BBQ grillers.

Admission is $7 for adults and children under 12 are free. meals are extra.

That's not all...
Brimstone Creek band will fill out each night with Bluegrass music that's fun for all ages.

On Saturday we'll start the fun even earlier!
Showtime starts at 11AM with
Kody Norris and the Watauga Mountain Boys. This band performs throughout the US and have appeared on RFD-TV's Cumberland Highlanders show and now they are going to be appearing right here at our Brimstock Bluegrass Festival. They will be putting on TWO shows.

Johnny Butten and Newgrass Underground will take the stage for a fast and exciting performance you'll never forget.

HairPeace - Ray & Chrystine - South Florida's Hottest Duo will perform and also include a special set with Gary & Diane for a Misty Ridge Bluegrass Band Reunion.

All the way from Kentucky Southern Grace will be here with their lonesome sound - Tennessee's Caney Fork and new formed band Slow Gold will perform along with our very own Brimstone Creek band and we'll have a surprise guest Hank Cawthorne ...sure to entertain all those young and old at heart.

Bluegrass and Gospel music will be enjoyed day and evening with Campfire Jamming, Free Primitive Creekside Camping, (donations accepted) and great stick to your ribs food is available with the vendor Track side BBQ from Moss, Tennesse

*Artisans will be on hand displaying their wares
